Whether it was it pure coincidence, written in the stars or destiny, Megan & Nick were meant to meet that fateful day. Nick, on an errand, was charging off with nothing but that task in mind. Then, 12 o'clock, a lady appeared, 'strutting' towards him, stopping him dead in his tracks. Trying to come up with something to cover his awkward frozen goofy-faced stance, Nick pulled out his phone and pretended to look up something. Meanwhile Megan was now thinking 'why is that cop looking at me creepily with his mouth open?" Just metres away, Nick could do nothing but look up and just stare. But she stopped and said hi and said she worked in xx department. She was on an errand too and after a little chit-chat she needed to get away from 'Backstreet Boy' cop and said drop by and say hello. It was definitely a rom-com moment but there was nothing fictional about it. With his heart aflutter, Nick went back to his office and told anyone who was able to make out what he was saying, "I just met my future bride." A couple of days later, sensibility restored, he did drop by and say hi, they met up for a coffee and have been inseparable since.
As high as their spirits that day, Megan & Nick were married on top of the world at Panorama House on a hot late summer afternoon.
Their families melded together perfectly and there was so much happiness for the couple. I think the flowergirls stole the show a bit, but Nick's bare emotions at the sight of his bride walking down the aisle was one of the best reactions I've witnessed.
Love can fire up a soul that once felt cold, it can peel away the armour wrapped around a heart and it can open your eyes to the beauty and possibilities in the world.
I'm so overjoyed for these two lovers! Biggest congratulations to the newly married couple!
