It's always magical to be in the Southern Highlands and Bendooley Estate was the perfect location for Kirsten & Michael's wedding.
It was rainy & drizzly all week, and we were crossing our fingers for a fine day on their wedding day. All our wishing must've worked as it turned out to be an absolute cracker of a Spring day.
The morning with the bridal parties was chilled as they got ready at an AirBnb in their respective wings.
The Stable at Bendooley Estate provided a gorgeously rustic architectural backdrop for their ceremony and their grounds are the perfect spot to capture the essence of this stunning countryside.
Kirsten dazzled everyone as she walked down the aisle with her dad. Michael was as mesmerized as all of us! Guests were refeshed with champagne and nibbles after the ceremony while we took some photos around the grounds.
The reception room was decked out beautifully in the colour theme, burnt orange & cream with lovely accents of travertine block table numbers and their names. Candy coloured glass vases sparkled in the afternoon light pouring in the back windows. As the guests filled the long tables, we heard from the couple's parents. Woz, in partcular...and we listened and listened and listened...
When Woz finally put done the microphone, we slipped out from their reception for a few extra special moments at golden hour. It was perfecly timed!
The night kicked on as we heard words of love from their besties and the happy couple.
Oberon Lane provided excellent backing music at the ceremony and keep the beats pumping on the dancefloor.
Saw a few familiar faces here too. The bride was a bridesmaid for Nichole, who was her bridesmaid today and many of their guests including Jemima were mutual friends from a few other weddings I had the privilege to photograph too. It makes my heart sing to have the honour to be invited back again and again to capture their lives.
Congrats to the happy couple ❤️
